 Keynote Speaker

Nehrwr (pronounced "nay-wah") Abdul-Wahid is a highly sought after consultant, facilitator and keynote speaker. Nehrwr is both a Qualified Administrator (QA) and Qualifying Seminar Instructor of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) – the premier intercultural development assessment tool used all over the world. As a resident trainer with the Blandin Foundation of Grand Rapids Minnesota, he designs and implements leadership programs for rural community leaders. Nehrwr’s client list includes AARP, Southwire, Ingredion, Best Buy, Honeywell, Lockheed-Martin, universities, colleges, school districts of all sizes, large and small city, county and state governments across the country.

Nehrwr has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and several professional certifications conflict mediation, program design, adult learning, leadership development and team-building.  Nehrwr is a Chapter Degree member with the National FFA Organization and has won several local and national science and math competitions as a high school student. Nehrwr was born in Washington D.C., raised on Chicago’s South Side and currently resides in Fridley, Minnesota.  He founded One Ummah Consulting in 2003 and co-authored "The PIOOYA (Pie-OO-YA) Principles" which he calls the 21st century’s ultimate "anti self-help book”.

Capnote Speaker

Kevin Wanzer   Question:  What does a former talking Christmas Tree, a man who was Walt Disney’s Goofy (for a day), and the hopefully-soon-to-be Guiness Book of World Record holder for the most hugs given by an individual in 60 seconds have in common?

Answer:  He is Kevin Wanzer, an out of this world speaker, who is thrilled to speak at your closing general session.

Kevin began his speaking career as a sophomore in high school, after being inspired by his mentor, Mark Scharenbroich. Since then, Kevin has visited well over 2,500 audiences around the world, empowering young people and adults who empower the lives of young people - through laughter, inspiring audience members to become better versions of themselves. Often described as organized chaos, Kevin’s message is a roller coaster of laughs that touch your heart and tickle your funny bone.

Kevin is a former staff member of the David Letterman Show, has spoken at the White House, and has addressed the United Nations. To this day, Kevin is still one of the youngest presidential appointees in American history.

Inspired by the spirit of ALOHA, Kevin’s message is one that will last long after the laughter as he reminds you of the importance of choosing to love what you do, choosing to love with whom you work and choosing to love those you serve.

Visit Kevin’s website at www.KevinWanzer.com or follow him @KevinWanzer
